Getting to the Heart of Conflict, with Guest Lecturer Bernie Mayer

This two-hour workshop will focus on how we can make an impact on the most significant elements of the conflicts our clients bring to us. Bernie will work with workshop participants on how to fine tune familiar concepts, such as: looking beyond interests; working with the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral dimensions of conflict; addressing polarized thinking; understanding and working with power differentials; and responding to enduring conflict.

Trainer: Bernie Mayer, Professor, Creighton University

CLE: 2 hours substantive credit

Cost: $135 (or $90 if also attending the evening Kaplan lecture)

Registration: To be posted soon.

The ACBA will be hosting its 15th Annual Kaplan Lecture immediately following the workshop. Registration for the evening Kaplan Lecture takes place on the ACBA website.
